View this Submission's Case Study

Learning Center is a new learning platform for our health coach training program.

Our health coach students enroll in a one year (40 week) nutrition education course, which they use on their own around their existing work and home time. Our focus was not on assessment, as most learning platforms / LMS systems do, but instead reduce the friction in learning our nutrition curriculum. We did this through a simple to use learning interface. Our students can easily consume our course assets, track progress, and interact with other students, all on their own time & device of choice.

Why is this project worthy of a UX Award:

- We put in significant time & effort to focus on the user experience prior to developing any code on the site. - This system achieves the functions of an LMS (Learning Management System), but with the simplicity of modern, adaptive web design - Students can use either a browser or a tablet, and system will remember where they last left off, including place in watching a video - Use of advanced supporting technology for UX, specifically AngularJS
