A digitally engaging social page redesign and content archive for all things Dodge.
Dodge has a fierce and loyal community of drivers. From auto shows to drag strips, you can find these individuals immersed in the Dodge lifestyle. But how do we keep this same level of enthusiasm alive online? Simple - by creating an interactive online space that will keep users coming back to learn about all the latest events, news and stories related to Dodge.
The Dodge community is a large and diverse one. From old-school gear heads to 30-year-old soccer moms, our audience is comprised of the full spectrum of drivers. However, they all share one common thread – Dodge drivers see themselves as rebels with a cause who “go against the grain.”
Dodge drivers are loyal to the brand. As such, they want to be in the know about the latest happenings. To take advantage of this existing group, we created an interactive experience where these individuals can feel like they are being rewarded for their loyalty.
This space had to be interactive and fun, one that represented the Dodge brand. It had to be consistently offering new content and features to keep them coming back for more. And it had to showcase the object of every Dodge fan’s desire – Dodge vehicles.
We redesigned and reconfigured the Born Dodge experience that houses all of the latest Dodge happenings. Now, Dodge enthusiasts can immerse themselves in social media postings, press releases, new marketing campaigns, image galleries and more – all in one place. Born Dodge is easy to navigate and makes it easy for users to find exactly what they’re looking for. It’s the ideal online playground for drivers who love the Dodge lifestyle.
Dodge is the first fully responsive site created by Dodge. This means users can access the site from any device and Born Dodge will automatically adjust its layout to meet the screen’s dimensions.
- Why this project is worthy of a UX Award:
Born Dodge offers a digitally dynamic user experience – it is always changing and being updated to keep up with the interests of drivers and/or fans. The wireframes showcase various layouts for the hero area in order to adapt to the amount of campaigns (max. 5) the site is showcasing at any given time. Furthermore, there are links to Dodge happenings and social content as well as news and events.
What makes this project an exceptional user experience is that Born Dodge pulls in social content from sites like Facebook and Twitter so that users can have access to the latest postings such as, photo albums, tweets, videos and event happenings. Creating a unique user experience, with the Dodge driver and/or fan in mind, is the main focus of Born Dodge while keeping the user fully engaged and immersed in the brand.
Dodge fans are digging the site. Site visits are up 110% compared to the same time last year.
