iPEPcare is a public health intervention in New York City whose main purpose is to determine support of a technology-supported pharmacist-clinician partnership that could assist in the provision of PEP to reduce the spread of HIV in populations that still experience high rates of infection.
iPEPcare is a public health intervention in New York City whose main purpose is to determine support of a technology-supported pharmacist-clinician partnership that could assist in the provision of PEP to reduce the spread of HIV in populations that still experience high rates of infection. With the iPEPcare application participating pharmacists & clinicians will be able to recruit up to 500 participants and manage patient care using a mobile and Web-based application. Development of the iPEPcare application and its user interface design began in 2012 and is currently being beta-tested with a small group of physicians and clinicians with the goal of being expanded.
