WeTravel is an easy to use application which provides a special collaborative space to help people plan their trips together.

I am Qi, a UX designer, and this case study is my final project in NYU UX portfolio class.
The idea of “We Travel” came from my personal experience: I like traveling and feel that planning trips with friends should be fun and interesting. But sometimes it can be much more complicated than we would in fact expect. When we discuss trips with several friends, we may notice that it is very difficult to meet everyone’s needs because everyone has different ideas and preferences. Insufficient and inefficient communication may also cause trouble. So I chose this topic and designed a solution to help people have better travel planning experiences with friends.
The design of the "WeTravel" mobile application is based on all the findings of the user research and usability tests. Several iterations of refinement and improvement made it more usable and intuitive as well as meeting all the users' goals and demands.

Why this project is worthy of a UX Award:

Trip planning should be fun and rewarding, not painful. WeTravel provides a special collaborative space where you can voice your opinion, join the discussion and create an amazing traveling experience together with your friends.
